How long have you all waited b4 CLI with Delta or Starwoods Card?

Hello all,

I'm just wondering how long you all have waited before applying for a CLI on either or both, Delta and Starwoods cc?  I received a Delta card (2k cl) last month and applied for a CLI but was denied.  I've made one payment on it now and will be making another tonight.  Also I just got approved for the Starwood cc (2k cl)...should I hit the "luv" button when I activate it or what? Let me know what you all think?  THANKS!!

Seems AMEX is now just saying no to CLI requests within the first 30 days. Possibly 60.

I hit the luv button as soon as I received the card in the mail, I asked or 2k cli and was approved. My DH did the same, but he got greedy and ask for a 5k cli... declined.

Good enough for me. I'm going back to recommending the Luv button upon activation.

(Still can't seem to figure out how to reply with the message replied to over the comment...but anyway) What was your approved cl? Your requested cli? And what were your scores on both occasions, if you don't mind me asking?

Hit the "reply" link on the post to which you wish to reply.  Then when the message screen comes up, click on the little balloon on the right of the strike-through font.

Then Hey Presto!!  Smiley Very Happy
The slide from grace is really more like gliding
And I've found the trick is not to stop the sliding
But to find a graceful way of staying slid

What were your scores, initial cl and cli when you got the card and applied for the cli? Thanks in advance.

Oracleicom, once you've hit the reply button, look up in the grey box. In the heading there is a white box next to the smiley.... that'll get you the quote your looking for.
