Just my opinion, you can not build credit fast it takes time. You have a Discover with 1K limit and only 4 accounts for best results in getting new accounts it good idea to increase the Discover credit limit. No one saying this, Good luck.
it now.

Because I have only 4 credit cards, I am planning to apply to credit cards that would respect Chase, Bofa, U.S. Bank and Barclays rules regarding card applications without being denied. I plan to apply for the Chase card in September, and then each of the 3 other cards separated by 2 months. Is 2 months a good interval or can it be 1 month or should it be 3 months?
There are no magic numbers. The longer, the better. 6 months is respectable. IMHO it is wise to be flexible. If, e.g., you wait 3 months, apply for a card, and are approved but with a limit you find too small for your purposes, you may want to wait 6 months before submitting another application. If, on the other hand, you're perfectly happy with your approval, you might want to try again after another 3 or 4 months.

What's your goal? More credit availability? SUB offers? Why not both?
Is there both a P1 and P2?
Where does your FICO score sit? What's it's average age?
This stuff actually matters. It determines which doors are open to you, and which ones are yet to open to you.
If you attempt to go on a credit card spree, it's best to understand precisely where you sit credit wise. Otherwise it's going to burn up a lot of hard inquiries, needlessly in the process.
The above poster is right on, as I said in other post, increase your credit limits with out hard pulls. Banks look to see what other banks are giving you in credit limits as part of what you will get approved for higher credit limits get more higher credit limits approvals. It is good Idea to build a good foundation before you start apply for new credit, again good luck.
Total cl334.4K fico scores all over 800 transunion fixo 8 is 809 as of today by credit wise.
But for the OP, there is always the question of account age. This is why I question how much acct age matters because with so many people rolling a bunch of cards at some point there has to be a FICO hit. Or, do you just stack the drawer with cards and let them ferment but if someone has only a few accounts I think the pace of new accounts could be different than someone for someone with a much older profile.

Lol, yes I do! Though they are all also in my spreadsheet, so I throw a spend every 6 months or so on them.
I'll admit I'm old school and lazy but with travel spend from work I'm leaving a lot of free stuff on the table. Have not paid for flights or hotels in years due to work travel but would be nice to stash more miles for business class flights over the pond.
I think I'll space them apart like every 6.5 so the hard pulls down start dragging me down.
