I am not expecting my credit score to go up by moving the bike loan to the HELOC. The introductory rate is going to expire and it's going to shoot up to 20% interest. That is why I have to get it out of there. The CU offered me 9.9 based on my credit score, but with the HELOC at 5% I am going to make that my first choice and just put the nose to the grindstone as it where and get the HELOC paid off as soon as possible too. I have finally had the lightbulb go on over my head. Once I dig myself out of this pit I am never going back :-)
All your support and advice has been very helpful. Thanks everybody!
You're on your way! Congrats!
Also, I noticed in an earlier msg you said you couldn't read the msg and reply at the same time. If you look under the text box as you're typing there should be a link to 'view discussion in a popup'. This helps a lot, along with quoting the message to which you're replying.
Hope that helps and good luck moving around that bike debt!
