How many times a day do you check?

... when you know something is about to post that will make a big difference to your score. Reloading my experian page twice maybe three times a day to see if there is any update.

My Amex BCE had a large transaction last statement that I paid off a month ago dropping my utilization from 15% to probably 5%, I paid when statement cut but they dont update bureaus until next cycle... Which is today.... Also just paid my first PRG statement and expecting that to post for the first time soon.

Reload. Reload. Reload.

Lol.

Re: How many times a day do you check?

I will be doing the same thing all week next week, lol. I received a call from the hospital today. They informed me that I qualified 100% for charity care for some medical accounts already in collections. They said they will contact the collection agencies to have the debts removed from my reports. I have 8 of them on eq, and a couple on the other two. Sometime the end of this week or possibly next week I will be free of any collections on my report.
I expect like a 30-100 point increase in my credit scores. I'm solo excited. I expect to see the 700's next month!!!!
Congrats on your debt reduction!

please don't take this is being rude, but if your scores are still around 633, i wouldn't expect to see 700 in one month's time. maybe over a few months, though.

Re: How many times a day do you check?

I'm not offended at all. However I will tell you that with 8 accounts with EQ totaling $6000 I still expect to hit 700. I have no late payments ever on my current credit accounts, with my oldest credit line being 10 years, and I have about $10,000 worth of credit with 32% utilization. I always make huge payments several times a month and pay them all in full every other month.
With these medical collections being the only thing holding back my score plus a couple inquiries set to drop off soon, I'm sure my score will take a huge increase! I get my letters in the next week and intend to file them with the CA's. I'll let you know, lol!
