How much to offer on PFD?

Should I offer percentage of original CL (300) or current balance reporting (1250)?

are you past SOL?  Is this with a JDB or the OC?  These are major factors.

Sorry, yes, past SOL. It's 3yrs for cc's in SC. Last activity 2/03.  Still reported only by OC as balance owed, charged off as bad debt. thx

They have already tax deducted as 'bad debt'- so initial offer of no more than you originally defaulted on IMO which cover what they paid out on your behalf.

Re: How much to offer on PFD?

I am a few months away from passing my SOL and my credit card CO is still with the OC for about 300 bucks...Do you think a PFD to the OC in this case is okay?

No need to sign anything.  When they send you the letter, you give them a MONEY ORDER.  They wont do anything until they get there money, signature or not.  So why take a chance.

As for how much....Im waiting for someone to answer you...I ve got a little one Im probably gonna do also.  $160 original and up to $260 with fees etc.  So I hope someone has good experiences to report!
