How to Cancel TrueCredit

I have found a few postings that provide a phone number to call to cancel TrueCredit ... but ... sheesh!!!  I can't find any phone numbers listed on the True Credit web-site.  Someone, please show me where it can be found before I call them and start hollering about what appears to be "trickery" to make it difficult to cancel the free trial (or service in general.)

OK ... I finally found the phone number on the web-site, but I still hold that they intentionally make it difficult to cancel the service.  I looked all over that site looking for the "contact us" tab that had the phone number ... and ... as many sites as I frequent I have never over-looked such a basic piece of information. 

My husband who has me handle all this "stuff" is clueless about these accounts.  Now ... I have to disturb him at work to have him make a phone call to cancel the service himself.  GRRRR!!!!

They do intentionally make it difficult to cancel, but you need to stick to your guns and say, "I'm not interested, please cancel it." They will persist, but keep saying, "I'm not interested, please cancel it." After about 10 minutes on the phone, they will realize they are wasting their time and will process your request.

DH successfully cancelled (although he is VERY annoyed with them and finally cut them off short.)  Email confirmation was received within minutes.

I just canceled mine.

It too less than a minute and the rep didn't give me any hassles.

Today is 2-4-2009 and I could not find a phone number to cancel my True Credit account on the site so I googled it and found this forum. Thank you for posting the phone number. First when I dialed it I got voice mail, pressed 2 to cancel, put on hold, then disconnected. 2nd time, voice mail, pressed 2 to cancel and was told a 3 minute or less wait and I was surprised to only hold less than 30 seconds. I was connected to Mike who also gave me his employee number after I told him the hard time I had getting this phone number and that I was recording him & would be posting all the info he told me on this forum. He was very nice, told me it was cancelled after giving him the Social Security number and all went well so I told him I would let you all know but I did complain that the phone number needs to be posted on the site and we should be able to cancel online since we signed up online. So, if you need to cancel, tell them you are recording the call and then posting their actions on the forum.(There are several forums complaining about their service by the way.)
