I typed a letter signed it and faxed it with the proof I was never late to each CRA. Within 1 hr EX had updated the status of the account to disputed. The next day TU and EQ had the account listed in dispute as well.

Well I sent a letter from my school loan company stating I was on a forbearance from xx-xx-xx to xx-xx-xx so I had no payment due. I know they went through because I pulled my reports and the account was listed as disputed. The one I sent to EX today had an update on my report in 20 min.
You should provide basic information to the CRA to ensure they can verify who you are. I list as much information about the account I'm disputing then tell them what the problem is and what I want them to do about it. Then I sign it and include my SSN, and address under my name to verify who I am. Once your dispute is complete the CRA will send you an updated copy of your report.
