How to proceed with Equifax

Recently i ordered some CR from AnnualCreditReport.com and I received 2 from Equifax,one had my fullname on it theother onehad my father's name on it(we have the same name exept for our secon last name) both had the same TL's exept fo the one with the wrong second loast name ,which had some TL's that were deleted from my correct CR.

The question is how can I proceed to get this fixed? Idont want to apply for credit and get denied because they pulled the incorrect (duplicate) CR.

Edit: My correct CR has only 3 Derog. and the Duplicate(w/ fathhers second last name) has 5 derog

Yikes! I cringe at stories like these. How is EX and TU?

IMO, the problem lies with EQ. I don't have experience and based on what others have said in the past in these forums, I would recontact EQ and follow their advice and suggestions. They have a way of splitting up the files and recontruct them based on your input and/or past reports, if that is what is needed. Are you still living with your father? If not, I'd also zero in and make sure the current address gets changed.
