I AM SO PIZZED!!!!!

I was away this evening.  Upon my return, DH informs me that Paypal called stating that last months payment of $60 was returned, NSF and he needs to make this payment immediately.

Number One:  I double-checked my bank online and NO Payments were returned at all last month.

Number Two:  I have overdraft protection

Number Three:  DH is NOT on this account

Number Four:  DH is NOT an authorized user

Number Five:  What right did an agent of Paypal have to discuss personal finances with someone who is NOT on this account AT ALL? 

I am writing a not-so-nice letter to Paypal tomorrow and ordering them to get their records straight.  Anything else I should add???

Sounds like fraud.

Are you sure it was a legit call?  I would be very suspicious of that.  Did he pay it over the phone?  I got a letter stating that a payment was denied when I lost my debit card and had to replace the number.  I get phishing emails once in a while from "PayPal" saying that they are confirming my purchase for x dollars and need my info to go forward with the transaction.  I contacted PayPal and they said that it is bogus and never give info over the phone if they call or through email.  Check with them before you do anything.

No, he refused to pay anything.  He doesn't touch my personal business.

Definitely sounds like fraud to me. I would contact PayPal ASAP.

Ditto. I get e-mails all the time from them saying I need to verify my acct number and social security number. Problem: I don't use Paypal.
