And it is already showing up on EX as a new account. They checked TU for the inquiry but put the account on EX. I have not received the card and activated it yet. Is this normal?

Yes, that happens sometimes. Activation has nothing to do with reporting. If you applied for it, and they approved you, it's yours.

What was the card, BTW? I noticed that my new BofA account showed up on EX within about 36 hours of approval.

It is not a good card. I have bad credit so I will take what I can get. It is one with fees attached but, I do not plan on using it, just paying on it. It is a Cortrustbank MasterCard. They checked my credit on 25 Apr and showed as a new account the same day.

The way I look at it is it looks like a normal CC.

Thanks. That is why I got it. Just to pay down the initial fees and not use it. Hopefully it will help.
