They sent me a prequalification for a personal loan for up to $60,000 at 12.99% APR annualy for 60 months. However, I never get any prequals from them in the mail. I currently have a TYP with them. Is this a good sign? 12.99% APR for 60 months does sound like a really high percentage.

Does the offer indicate anywhere that it is being made as a result of having obtained your name from a listing provided by a CRA?
If so, it is a firm offer for credit, and indicates your credit file has been screened and found to meet their stated criteria for the credit offer.
