I just found out that Equifax doesn't know I exist but I've never had an issue getting credit?

So long story short I learn that Equifax has no record that I exist. This is really strange because transunion and experian do and I've been given credit many times. 

I guess what I'm wondering is has this happened to anyone else? Does this mean that every single place I've applied to for credit has checked credit agencies other than equifax and I just got lucky that nobody asked for information from equifax? 

I'm now in the process of sending them my information to be put in their system because I'm worried that not being in their system will cause me to be declined for something in the future.

That's why I was trying to sign onto my.equifax because I thought I had used annualcreditreport.com in the last year but when I went to look I couldn't find any credit report from equifax. The my.equifax website has an option to get 2 free credit reports a year so that's how I found out that I couldn't sign up because I didn't exist in their system. 

As far as credit karma I don't use that. I use nerdwallet and wallethub and netiher of them uses equifax.

CK is free....sign up just to see if it pulls anything at all possible for EQ.  CK is TU and EQ.

Don't use CK for their scoring though have you pulled your report here?!      off your MyFICO?!

I think I figured out the problem. When I created a CK account I see an equifax score but I also see that they mispelled my name. 

So that must be why they're saying that I don't exist in their systems. My SSN does but it's not connected to the correct spelling of my name.

yep, I can't get verified with EQ if I type Lane for my address instead of LN.  EQ is very sensitive.
