So here's the gist of the situation.
I have looked for MONTHS for the perfect RV and finally found one! I saved 4k to put down and when they ran my credit, I was turned down due to my dilenquent truck payment for 7 months. Only thing is, I have made my payments on time. I called Wells Fargo and they said that they see that my credit hasn't been updated since last October but I don't understand why it shows dilenquent. They said it would take 72 hours to even submit the request and who know how long until it hits my credit report. My question here is, does anyone have a clue how I can speed this process up or how long I should expect to have to wait until it's updated? I put a deposit on the rv so they would hold it while I check on this, but they will only hold it for a few days.
Any help at all would be amazing!
Hi and welcome
You did the right first step, which is direct dispute with the lender.
If you do anything else to "hurry it up" you will just be adding more time.
WF needs to do internal audit, correct their mistake if there is one, then corrections (if any) will reflect once CRAs update.
Any interruption of this process will just muddy waters further. Unfortunately, now you need to be patient
That's what I was afraid of. It's looking like I'm going to have to put off camping this year.
Just wanted to follow up in case it helps answer someone else's question in the future. Wells Fargo has the negative item moved from my credit. Happened much faster than I thought it would. Reapplied and still didn't get the financing (even though my last two loans were both larger and good history of payment. Guess I'll head over to the credit repair section and start reading up lol.
Sounds like a good plan.
In addition to working on your credit, you might want to look for a decent CU.
What's CU?
I'm printing out PFD letters to send out in the mail on Monday. I have a choice recovery collection for $890 that I'm going to try to get off of there (not sure how much I should offer? from. 12/19/18 ) And another from ARS account resolution for $550 (I was going to offer $300 from 4/10/18). Any advice on offers would be great.
CU = Credit Union

I'm just trying to keep this updated in the event it helps someone. I FINALLY heard back from one of my pfd letters. They accepted my offer of 50% and are willing to settle for $265.50. Great news!
Now my question is, should I just pay ARS (Account resolution services) or should I call them to talk about the PFD first? From other posts on here, I read they are very easy to deal with and 100% dp PFD, however there is no mention of it on the settlement offer I received.
I feel like I should just pay it and see what happens, but I'd love to hear some good advice before I pull the trigger.
ARS will delete even if settled.

We're you able to get Choice Recovery straightened out?
They do PFDs. They helped me out with a couple small med collections I had about a year and a half ago.
