...can the CRTP be restarted if the debt is sold?
ie. I had a collection with Bob Co. since 2005, paid it down to $400 was then sold to Joe Co. who is now reporting Date Opened as 2007. There is no DOFD on Joe Co. account. Can they legally restart the clock at 2007?
