If my collection is removed from my credit because of date of first delinquency is past 7 years

If my collection is removed from my credit  because of date of first delinquency is past 7 years. But the collection was sold to another collection company does the other collection company also remove the collection? Or does that collection have a new date of first delinquency to go by? And if so does the collection keep being sold and sold. What would you recommened I do in this situation. Thank you.

Once the CRTP (Credit Reporting Time Period) has expired it cannot be reported ever again but the debt remains and collectors can continue with their tactics to get money from you forever in theory.
