If something is still reporting after SOL?

my transunion report tells me an estimated date that something should come off.  It is 2 almost 3 months after that and it is still reporting.  Can I send a letter to the OC and ask them to remove it?  Do I also send to Transunion and any one else reporting?  Thanks

Re: If something is still reporting after SOL?

So, to clarify, the CRTP (Not SOL!) being 7-7.5 yrs is not being abide by even though today's date (assuming it is on today) is past the estimated date for removal on TU?

I would dispute this with TU. One of the dispute reason codes says something like past 7 yrs for reporting. I'd choose that one and none of the others. When you dispute with TU you'll have a chance to confirm that date then, just to make sure it wasn't re-aged.

Also, I'd pull EX directly and look at their estimated removal date to be sure, assuming it is on there too.
