Include in Bankruptcy Question

I'm cleaning up my credit report.Items that say Included in Bankruptcy. Should the Balance due be blank or should it have the actual number 0. Contacted credit bureau and she said that a blank balance amount and amount passed due is considered zero...Is this correct? Any help appreciated.

Re: Include in Bankruptcy Question

I am having a similar problem.  All of my cards that were in my bk now say 0 except Dell.  I keep getting the round around with the.  They tell me I have to call this one company, then they tell me no we don't report to the credit agency you need to call Dell.  It is  an annoying process to say the least.

Should be reported as $0 balance, closed, IIB. Anything else and you should dispute it as inaccurate.

If it was late, in collection, charge off, etc. when you filed, then they can legally report that. But if it was current when you filed, they cannot report it as other than $0 balance, closed, IIB.
