Should I worry about or dispute an incorrect previous address on my CR? My current address is correct with all three bureaus. EQ and EX have my 2 previous addresses correct. TU, on the other hand, shows 1 correct previous address and the other one is wrong.
The correct previous address showing on TU: 1300 "road name"
Wrong previous address showing on TU: 2400 on the same road, same town, same state & same zip. I never lived there.
It should be : 2800 "different road", "different town", "same state" (EQ and EX have this correct)
I Google mapped it and it doesn't even look like there is a 2400 on that road.
I do wonder if there was some sort of data entry error.
Everything else on my reports from all 3 bureaus is correct.

It's easy to correct by filing an online dispute with TU.
Thank you, Irish!
Just filed the dispute online and it was quick and painless

It won't have any impact on your score but the incorrect information could be used for one of those identity verification questions.

+1 This exactly happened to me and a department store card denied my app. Did not know there were incorrect addresses on my report. Disputed and updated info.
Many CCC and other credit providers tend to misreport addresses. Nothing to worry about. A simple dispute will fix it.
However, if for some reason you went into default and one of the basis of the default was non-receipt of a bill, you can use the address issue in your defense. I don't suggest it without doing some research, but I know its a factor for derogatory removal.
Just a quick update... TU deleted the incorrect address and all my personal information is correct now
