Information on my credit file

On my Experian report it has my Real Estate Mortgage listed as  ( type Unknown ) .. My question is, do I need to contact Chase Mortgage to correct this problem or contact Experian ?  It is reported correctly on the other two . as Real Estate Mortgage ....

I know you are suppose to have a mix of diff kind of credit so I think this is maybe hurting my score on experian ...

Thanks in advance for any help !

I would give them a call. You have nothing to lose by calling. It may just be a clerical error that is easily corrected.

From a BK years ago to:
7/09 TU-742 EQ- 779
8/09 TU-765 EQ- 783
9/09 EX pulled by lender 802

You can do the same thing with hard work.

Did you see this on your full credit report directly from Experian or annualcreditreport.com, or did you see this on a report from a credit monitoring service like TrueCredit, CreditSecure, etc.? The full report has a list of your soft inquiries.

Oftentimes info doesn't flow fully or correctly onto credit monitoring service reports, including those from myFICO. As long as the info is accurate on the full report, that's all that matters, because that's what's used for scoring, and that's what's viewed by lenders.

FICO's: EQ 781 - TU 793 - EX 779 (from PSECU) - Done credit hunting; having fun with credit gardening. - EQ 590 on 5/14/2007
