Inquiries Aging Off

I checked Credit Karma today and 8 of my inquiries fell off my TU report.  The inquiry dates range from 9/27/2012 - 1/25/13.  I know accounts can age off of reports between 7 - 10 years but inquiries don't usually fall off before two years, do they? Anyone find this weird?  Or have an explanation?

I believe for scoring purposes inquiries disappear after one year. They are still on credit report though if uw hard pulls your car they will still see it

I'd check your actual report and not rely on CK.

The inquiries aren't a year old yet, and they don't disappear after a year, they just stop affecting your score.  Regardless, I actually checked my report directly from TU and they're all still there. And here I was happy to have them gone.  I guess it's just a CK glitch.

Thanks for the reply, though! Smiley Happy

Re: Inquiries Aging Off

Maybe the inquiries got bumped off inadvertly. Good for you.

Re: Inquiries Aging Off

Exact same thing took place for me with TU. My view is to "...never look a gift horse in the mouth..." so I said nothing!

Re: Inquiries Aging Off

No, the INQ's are still on my TU report. CK is just showing they've been removed. Smiley Sad
