Inquiries - Fall off or CC stop reporting?

I just noticed that Inquiries for Cap One (10/06) and HSBC (10/06) are no longer on my CRs. Did they fall off (generally happens in 2 years right?) or did the CCCs stop reporting?  I'd like to apply for a discover card but I don't want to risk a drop in my scores. I only have none on TU, 3 on Ex and 1 on Eq.
10/08 - EX 795 / EQ 816 / TU 806
6/09 - EQ 763 / TU 770

Starting Score (2/2010): TU-767, EQ-745
Current Score (2/2010): TU-767, EQ-745
Goal Score (12/2010): TU-780, EQ-790

Inq's will show for 2 years, but they only count against you for one year. Their worst damage occurs in the first six months, and then they start to fade. After 12 months, they show up on your report, but they are not counted in your scores.

So, I should expect the inquiries for HSBC and Cap One to resurface since it hasn't been 2 years?

IF you pulled the report from MyFICO- they only display the INQ's in the last 12 months.

Yeah but at least FICO, the scores that count, says twelve months and not 24. Not sure if the FAKOs factor inqs for a full 24 months. For those who are interested in knowing I'll see what I can dig up.

Re: Inquiries - Fall off or CC stop reporting?

If I apply for a mortgage in the next 12 months, all of the inquiries will be present but they will not have an impact on my FICO score after they age 1 year?

BTW - I'm referring to the inquiries from my recent MyFICO reports.
