Inquiries question

Before I knew about Myfico, I got an Experian report from freecreditreport.com.  They showed three inquiries.  Then, the same day, I got my FICO scores and credit reports (except for EQ, which isn't working.) 

Here's the weird thing.  These reports were run on the same day, but the Experian report I got from MyFico show's only one inquiry.  Why would the Experian reports be different on the same day?

My Transunion shows zero.

What is going on?

I usually pull thru my myFico Suze Orman kit here.  On that EX report... it only shows hard INQs.  Is there any chance that the freecreditreport EX report was also showing your soft (account review) and/or soft promo INQs?

I don't think so.  There are many more soft ones.

Reports from a CRA show all inqs in the last two years. I think  MyFICO shows only the last 12 months, as these are the ones that effect your score.  Did you look at the dates?

Yeah, I think if MyFico showed last two years, there would be a spike in disputes for inquiries.  Single-handedly being responsible for the waste of hundreds of more trees for the letters that get sent out... MyFico=eco-friendly.

I only have recent ones as a basis for comparison... did not even consider that.

Due to a technical error, I haven't been able to check my EQ on myfico.  I used equifax.com and they gave me my FICO.  It contained the last two years worth of inquiries. 

Would that have happened even if I'd been able to check my EQ score on here?
