Is Experian usually the higher out of the 3 scores

My scores are 496 TU, 482 EQ, and 542 EX.

I had financial difficulty throughout the past 60 days. My scores reflect that. However, the balances are down to 5% UTI, and payments are back to current. If my score hasn't updated the payments made recently, can I dispute the accounts because of the balances listed?

I have a current secured credit card through my credit union, I am interested in getting a higher limit, so when its time for a unsecured card, I can get a descent score.

What do you advise me to do?Smiley Happy

any late payments will hurt your scores until they are 2 years old. NO all creditors report once a month!

Re: Is Experian usually the higher out of the 3 scores

your post question, is EX usually higher out of 3 scores, i think it depends on the person, my TU score is higher then the other two, just depends on how many creditors report to each i guess, less creditors are listed on my TU report so the score is higher. but that just me

EX hates me.  40-50 points lower than EQ or TU
The slide from grace is really more like gliding
And I've found the trick is not to stop the sliding
But to find a graceful way of staying slid

Re: Is Experian usually the higher out of the 3 scores

Add me to the list of ones Experian hates. They have deleted only one item in 6 months of disputes, and that was only because I mentioned I'd already contacted the FTC and the AG about it when I disputed this last time(CA wasn't licensed to collect in my state). I'd disputed it twice before. TU has by far been the best for me, which is why it has a score 100 points higher than EX and EQ.

As for your reports not reflecting the balance, I would try contacting the creditor first to see if they've reported it yet. If you dispute your balance with the CRA, you run the risk of them deleting the whole tradeline. I lost a positive account by disputing the balance with the CRA.

EQ hates me.  I can't get it over 700 to save my soul.
