OK, so here is the question.
When your bank, Credit Union or other creditor reports your payment history each month, do they ALSO report / update your PERSONAL INFORMATION ie; Home address, Phone Numbers, etc, even if you are not applying for new credit (doing a hard pull).
So if I tell my credit union, HERE IS MY NEW HOME PHONE or EMAIL ADDRESS, is this new information automatically reported or ONLY during a hard pull ?
THANKS !
CHEERS !

If you update information with a financial institution, it will get reported on next update.

Also, during a HP (either obtaining new or additional credit/renewing terms) an inquiry analysis disclosure can be listed (under additional information section) whereby such identifying or personal information may be included, namely on TU.
Most furnishers, when making regular monthly reporting, submit it in the standard format used by the CRAs (which is called their Metro2 format).
It is a long, long string of all account information that usually includes all codes under the account.
"Updates" are simply any item in which the code has changed.
So, yes, it is standard for each monthly reporting to provide the CRA with current info on all items previously reported under the account.
Yes, it is updated monthly.
Also, FWIW, if you apply for credit using a new address not previously reported the credit report will give a "mismatch address" warning to the creditor pulling your credit.
