Is anyone else out there having problems with True Credit? ARGH!

I've been trying to sign up for the credit monitoring with True Credit and I can't get it to work - this since 2/11.  I've been on the phone with their customer service pretty much every day and none of them have been able to help me.  I can't even pull my credit report with Transunion.  It's making me completely nuts.

Is anyone else having these kinds of problems?

I can purchase the product, but when I go to access it, I get a "credit bureau(s) not responding" message.  This has been happening all week, with no breaks except one time I got a different message which said "Unable to confirm identity".

grrr.

It has taken since September until today (thnaks for your post - prompted me to try again) for them to permit me to have an account - and I think I figured out why!!! The card I was using for payment hadn't been reported as opened to the bureaus until last month.

Hmm.  I'm using a card that is reporting, but I've also had the issue with unconfirmed identity due to only having a cell phone.  I wonder if that causes them to glitch?  I suppose I'll know in two weeks when our landline is installed, but it still seems weird.  I haven't had any problems with the other bureaus...

I used a prepaid CC for access and they don't report to the bureaus.

Is your name possibly spelled in a unique manner?

My mother had the clever idea of naming me Ja' Net (yes an apostrophe AND a space) to piss off my grandmother... and because of that I couldn't pull anything here for about 3 days even though I was paying for services.  It took a few calls to customer service and weeding through a few lazy customer service reps to find one that would finally say "Oh you spell your name funny and it doesn't match the computer systems, let me get a super to fix that."

Nope, my first and last name are both boring. I've never had these kinds of issues before, so it's really irritating. And their customer service agents aren't very helpful.

Yes, I know exactly what you are speaking of.  I just went through this problem with them this month.  After you sign up you can no longer go to the page. They tried everything to get me to stay with the credit monitoring, I told them no.  In my personal opinion forget it with True Credit.  I was so sorry I signed up with them, because if you want to update your credit report to see your score and report you will have to pay again.  They dont tell you that when you sign up and they only report when you apply for credit somewhere, that is it.  IT IS BOGUS!!!! Save your money and try credit monitoring through someone else.

Are you thinking of another service?  TC offers daily pulls for a set monthly fee.  There is no pay-per-pull with TC.

FYI, I only have a cell phone and have never had a problem pulling TC data. Hope this help you narrow it down. Good luck!

I have only a cell phone and have had no problem with them.  I use my debit/credit card.  The only time there was a problem is when, for some reason, a fraud alert was posted to all three CRAs.  It is still on there and I can't pull reports from EQ and EX.  It is straightened out with TU.
