Is faxing a dispute secure??

Everyone here has been so generous and given me fax numbers for all three CRA's.  However, my concern is that they aren't going to a secure location, or that they aren't in fact going there at all.  Has anyone verified this info?  These are the numbers I have:
 
EQ: 866-233-3777
EX: 972-390-3838
TU: 610-546-4606
 
In addition, does anyone have phone numbers at all CRA's where I can actually speak to a live person?

I would rather call, check their websites for the numbers.

Yes they work....I got an update completed on TU and saw a dispute I faxed show up on EX and EQ...
