Is there a way to soft inquiries?

I found the soft inquires on my annual reports I pulled in April, and it is probalby helpful to find latest updates for pre-qualified cards.

So my question is, how can I continue to keep track of it? I'm subcribed to myFICO x 3 and to the EX FICO which provides daily pulls of the EX report (but it does not seem to have the soft inquiries section).

Does anyone know if one of the affordable services that allows frequent updates of the reports does also offer soft inquiries?

There's a way to check SP for EX and EQ but you need to have the respective report number, and I'm not sure whether or not the mods allow us to discuss it here.

03/25/2015 TU 08 765, EX 08 747, EQ 08 757, EQ 04 754.
01/30/2016 TU 08 775, EX 08 752, EQ 08 744
Goal: 780+ across all models.

{Mod cut}

For EQ? I know I can do it to EX, but for EQ, it always requires a confirmation number, which if I'm not wrong, can only be obtained by filing a dispute first?

Several posts were deleted because they discussed tactics not allowed to be posted nor sent in PM's.

Equifax Complete Advantage plan allows for daily pulls and shows both HPs and SPs.

Generally, no.  You need to pull reports directly from the CRA's to view soft pulls.  In many cases their monitoring services will not show SP's (exception stated above) so carefully research.

If you use subjective words like "affordable" then clairfy what you mean.  Provide a number or range.  Don't just assume that everyone's notion of affordable, expensive, cheap, etc is identical.

eliminateidtheft (myprivacymatters) lets you pull reports daily but theres no SP list with it.

I dont have much experience other than that!  Atleast itll narrow down your options.

Obviously there are exceptions, this is what I wanted to identify.

I understand that in the snail mail days, when someone wanted his annual report by mail, there is a cost to it to produce and mail it, so the limit to one report annually made sense.

But today everything is electronic and over the internet, and is much chepaer to deliver. so they should be able to provide FREE monthly or atleast one a quarter access to your full report instead of annual.

I totally agree but the CRA's are a powerful lobby and so far have fended off any such move.

CRAs found that our need to know and track the score and the identifyt is a lucarative business for them,

If you look at the Experian annual report - they made $2.4B$ in North American in 2014.

The breakdown is:

Credit Service $961M

Decision Analysis $179M

Marketing Services: $433M

Consumer Services $831M

Consumer Services Description:

"We provide millions of people with secure, online access to their credit history and score, empowering them to manage and improve their financial status, and helping them to protect themselves against fraud and identity theft. "

So the $831M is US! $831M because we need to PAY for our score and our report...
