Is this normal? Fico vs Fako

I have just begun the road to recovery for dh's credit........ His fako's are EX 545 TU 543 (2 point drop after DV to CRA's) and EQ 573 (40 points up from 2 weeks ago after disputing to items that were not his). His EQ Fico is 645........nearly 75 points above the others........is this normal? I thought they would be much closer, and certainly did not expect his Fico to be so high, with such low scores from the others........

It's "normal" in the sense that FAKOs have no correlation with FICOs whatsoever.  Differences of 100 points are not uncommon.

The best advice is to ignore all FAKOs, as they do you no good at all.

Agree FAKO are "fake". I could say your FAKO is 686 at it would be about as accurate as your "real FAKO. Use other reporting sites for cheap reports and pull real FICO anytime you have major change to your report and/or are looking to apply for credit.

Simply forget FAKO even exist.

FAKO make about as much sense a FAKE tax return. Imagine if you did your takes on 1040 and IRS says you owe $798. Then you do takes on my 1040-FAKO and it says you owe $108. What are you going to pay the IRS.

Thanks everyone.......I will ignore those numbers (although it is hard to watch them fluctuate). I will pay for the rest of our fico numbers when I can afford it.

No myFICO is real FICO scores.  Everyone else except EQ own score from their agency is a FAKO.
