Is this right?

I posted this at the BK forum, but I thought I might get a few more suggestions here.

I stumbled across this board a few months ago and I have found a wealth of information here. However I ran into a roadblock that I think I know the correct answer for, I'm just not sure how to handle it. So I'm hoping I could get some help.

I filed chapter 7 back in 2004, it was discharged, I have recently been trying to clean up my credit report and I think I'm making a little headway. One of my creditors (cc company) has me listed as IIB with a 0 balance, which I know is correct, however it is showing 120 days past due. I disputed with the CRA saying that the current status is not 120 days past due, that it was 120 days past due at the time of filing, however it came back verified. I then disputed with the cc company and I received a letter yesterday saying everything is reporting correctly. I thought that it shouldn't be showing 120 days past due, am I right?

If I am right, how do I handle it?

Thanks everybody.

Re: Is this right?

From what I understand, if you have used the card since 2004 and paid on time then no, it should not show as 120 days past due. However, the CR will still show that at one point you did pay 120 days late. You can't get rid of that recording entirely, until after the 7rs. If you haven't used the card since 04', then the last payment will show, if that payment was 120 days past due, then that is what will show.

Hope this helps.
