Judgement

I am new but have been reading for a few months!!  I need heIp from anyone that can help me!! I had a judgement filed on me in Jan 2007.  I have now received a letter saying they are going to garnish my wages if I don't resolve the matter.  Should I contact them?  I can't afford to pay it in full  -its $2950.  Will they accept payments?  I don't know what to do please advise!!

Re: Judgement

Yes, contact them and ask for payments to be set up. If you let this wait, it will be a bigger mess. I let a judgement letter wait and they garnished my bank and pulled the money out. They can and will mess you up. If you owe the money talk to them and set up arrangements. Any way what do the rest of you smart people out there say, do you agree or not?
