Judgment....Please help

I have three judgements on my cr that are paid and they said Status:Unknown.  Once I fix this problem, do you think the score will be much different.  Any ideas of how many points?  The amounts are 502,  2500, 9000.

How are you going to fix the problem?

I called the city (Chicago civil court)and they said that I need to pay them $9 for each for a certified copy that said they are paid.  I asked them if they will notify the credit bureaus and they)court) told me that I need the send that certified letters to the bureaus to update as paid.  And my question is if when they are corrected if that will make a big or small difference in my score?

Well, that's B.S.

City government or not, if it's paid, they are required under FCRA to update it to paid.

Dispute it with the CRAs. Tell 'em it's PIF.

If the City of Chicago is that freakin stupid, they might be dumb enough not to verify when you dispute the status.

I read somewhere that FICO won't reward you in terms of points.  However, some creditors won't extend you credit if they see an unpaid judgement.  When I paid my judgement, I remember having to pay an extra fee to the court for a receipt. I sent a copy of the receipt to the CRA's and they updated the status to paid.

I have 2 judgements on my credit report (hospital bills) one is for 1650? and the other is for 780?  I had to do 2 different disputes to have the status changed to paid...I am still in the process of having the collection reports removed since they in the judgement...I am waiting to see how that goes.  Your scoure may not change right away but it will gradually increse....my current credit scores are 633, 613 and 628(these are my current scores with the judgements on my CR)...they were much higher but I have applied for a few new credit cards.Go ahead and file the disputes it will be corrected....Hope this helps.

Thank you all!  I dispupte with EX online and is reported paid since yesterday.  I will send TU and EQ tomorrow in the mail, since they do not allow me to do it online....who knows why.....Thanks again.

Thanks,  When I tried in Transunion/disputes I always get a message that I was unable to do it online....but now it works.  Great
