Judgment Removed

Hey yall

Just wanted to share some good news this morning...TU removed a judgment due to fall off next year in June and I  also had a baddie removed...Logged into account this morning and Abracadabra its gone.....Thing is though I lost 1 point..I dont care though those baddies will help a lot..

Now Equifax told me on last week they would delete the same baddie on the 2nd  however, when I called yesterday they gave me the ole 45 days which will be the 15th...They full of it....

Just wanted to thank you people for everything that you do to help others...Tuscani, Happy hearts and billiards, Midnight Tex, Brammy...So so many others.....Blessings and thanks again.......

Congrats on getting the judgement removed.  I have a few questions for you.

My wife has a judgement on her CR from Equifax.  It's from 1989 but it was re-newed in '03 and will get re-newed again in 10 years.  Did you pay off in full and asked for it to be removed?  When i spoke to the collections they said to mail the payment and then dispute it and they usually don't respond which allows the bureaus to remove it.  I find it kind of shady but i would like to get this removed from her report.  Her current FICO is 690.  We are working on her utilization but i'm wondering if paying it would bring her up to the 700 mark.

Scorepower I sent a fax and mailed a letter to TU and asked for it to be removed and stated my reasons...Didnt know it would work..but it did...The letter I used was one posted here by those who had judgments removed...My was removed but no increase of score a baddie fell off no increase though...A 1 pt decrease....Im ok with that..Good luck...
