Just added as Amex AU but it's not reporting

Last month I was added as my relative's Amex AU, received my card and have not used the card yet. I don't plan on using it because I just want to lenghthen my avg history.

Question: Do I have to use the card in order for this TL to be reported? If not, how long does it take to show on socrewatch if I don't use the card.

It will show up when the owner's account updates. Some AmEx accounts have a lag.

At one point, I had DXH and DD#2 on my AmEx Gold. I took them off several years ago, and the card has been closed for over a year, and yet it's still reporting on their reports. In fact, since I had to close it for fraud and get a new one, they each have two accounts reporting.

Rest assured, once it shows up, you'll have to move heaven and earth to get the thing back off again.
