Just pulled FICO on EX...Help!!!

I just pulled my FICO on EX and it is a 642 but, for those of you who know about the bar that shows you if it is bad, not good, good, etc mine falls in the not good category...i kinda thought i would be in the good or close to it but, it's in the middle...not sure what to make of it...i know 642 is by no means great...

oh yeah forgot to mention the TC FAKO was wayyyy off...515 on TC vs. 642 FICO

i would die for a 642 score. not good my butt lol. do you have problems being denied for credit or ridiculous interest rates? if not i would think a 642 is great

I haven't applied for anything in about 2yrs so I am not sure...maybe I should test it out...maybe i should go for the Delta Amex and see what happens..

Actually 642 is not great at all to lenders. But on the other hand OP, you are well on your way to good. All it takes is a few more pts, Shoot for 670.

OP, was this your first pull?

BTW, my Fako's are way off as well.

Oh man you're closer to 700 than I am. I would hmm maybe try Cap 1 they seem to like those of us in the 600's. I've heard all kinds of stories, some people get approved some don't. I also was told to apply for a hooters card, err for me no thank you, but I was told by someone with scores in the late 500 range that they got approved for 1K initially. You could also try BOA, and see if they offer you that 99/500 one. I tried them and when the JDB was on my CR got offered a student card with a 1K limit. I have no explanation besides they called me to ask me to fax my student ID, and ask me about the JDB. I believe the analyst was an "angel" of sort.
