The reason I ask, is becasue I just sent a PFD to Crapital One. At this time I know that they still own this account, but in the event they answered my PFD as US Bank did and while I had my certified check in the mail to them....what if they sell my account to junk buyer?

So if they don't do it in the time frame mentioned in the letter, alls you have to do is fax that letter and your cancelled check to the CRAs and they have to delete it.Congratulations! And yes, please do post the letter you sent, if you don't mind. I think it'll help a lot of people out on here.

Right now, I am unsure if US BANK sold my account to a collection agency or not. But whatever the case it is, if US BANK decides to delete after receiving the payment, the collection loses its rights to file collection against me or my credit report..right??Tuscani-if the account has been sold and he/she pays US Bank this money. What would happen. Would the purchaser of the account have to delete it?The reason I ask, is becasue I just sent a PFD to Crapital One.
