well i was approved today for 1500.00 they did pull TU my score is like 574 not gonna be enough for  anice wedding ring anybody else got credit for another jeweley place? my scores are equifax 741 ex 614 tu 574

Strange I appled with Kay and my scores or all in the 500's with a few charge offs and they gave me 8000 dollars i was floored

I have a few chargeoffs and my TU is 660.
My credit applying spree has been fruitful.

$6000 from Kay's
I called instead of waiting 7-10 days and for some reason they didn't have my app so I did it on the phone. Smooth and easy...

Romeo- Have you been over your credit w/ a fine tooth comb? Reason I am asking- why do you have such a difference from 741 to 614 to 574. Those are huge jumps in between. My largest jump was when I was 670's w EQ and EX and then 20 pts. lower for TU.

How are they at reporting to the CRA's?  I was just approved for $2000.

I just came across this post and thought I would apply. The last time I checked my TU Fico  I believe it was 595. I decided to apply for this card. From the credit verification questions they asked, I think they pulled EX (Fico EX was around 580). I just got approved for $4,500. I plan on using the card at Christmas to upgrade my husband's wedding band and will pay off the balance. I am soooo happy I came across this post. I would have never thought to apply for this case with my scores. Yippppeeee!

I bought my 1st DW's and current DW's engagement rings at Kay's.
I have been very happy with th quality and service.

They even repaired a ring and necklace I didn't even buy from them for free.

Maybe I should try to re-open it?

Last few purchases from them have been debit card/cash.

Upgrade/traded in the .5 ct for a 1 ct certified princess cut a few years ago. PAINLESS. I think they gave me 1.5x what I paid for it originally.

They pull eq in Oregon.  My score was 607 with 1 collection and 2 charge offs.
