Does Lending Club ever does a hard credit check? A friend has two loans and never had a HP on any of his credit reports.
They don't. Always a SP approval but reports to all three.
Good question. I'd assume they do an HP if approved (Not just preapproved)

I know it's a SP for pre-approval, but are you sure they don't do a HP before finalizing? Do you have a loan with them?

Nope. Not an HP. Up until now it's been a SP approval.
