I have a 2 year credit history with a few inquiries, high debt to credit ratio, but no missed payments.
Currently have some not so great fico scores, until debt is paid off. (about 3k)
I have applied for 3 loans so far, but was declined for all 3. For those who arent familiar with Lending tree. It does a soft credit pull
to match you with lenders suited for your credit situation.. You can then apply for which lender and deal you want. Unfortunately it only
recommends One main Financial.. which has horribly high interest rates ( which im fine with ) but is a consumer finance comany which
will look bad on my credit. As well as the fact that they charge interest up front for time that hasnt even come.
Im looking for a company similar to Lending tree that will do a soft pull so i have a better chance of knowing what company or lender Im
suited for in my current credit situation, as well as avoid another wasted hard inquiry.
THANKS FOR ALL HELP IN ADVANCE! I APPRECIATE IT,
Since you're only looking to pay off a small amount, less than $5K, you might want to ask around a few local CUs ~ they should be able to give you their personal loan rates, and you can get an idea where you stand based on your FICO scores.
Does Not Exist to my knowledge.
I didn't think Lending Tree was SP's either, know when I was shopping for an auto loan I got a number of HP's from various lenders without my applying directly to them but I'd have to find an old report.
In any event:
Just pay off your cards if you can, a consolidation loan isn't going to help you in this case; you need to fix your financial structural issues honestly, whereas the consolidation loan is going to be looked at as pushing your markers even further by virtually every lender.
Go to your credit union and get yourself a decent loan. Much better than online and start a relationship to build down the road.
Prosper will SP EX to determine what you might qualify for. If unfavorable terms/denied, they will re-pull (soft) if you app with them again more than 30 days later.
