Try prosper.com. I have recently opened an account and began investing over there, since tax free muni bonds have such low coupons in these days of very low interest rates.

I actually tried prosper - but I was denied because my credit score was not high enough for them.. Smiley Frustrated

Some guy from LendingClub has started calling me like 3X a day while I am working telling me to call him immediately but won't state why..Kind of over them already and would rather find the funding elsewhere..

Wow, this is odd. The information that I have read says that prosper has easier underwriting requirements, which is why they offer slightly higher returns than Lending Club. Oh well, I guess this just goes to show that I can't believe everything that I read (I read it in the "Prosper vs. Lending Club" article at investorjunky). Maybe Prosper has changed a bit since the article was written.... It seemed reputable at the time, but I trust your first hand experience.

No idea.  Lending Club straight out says you have to have a minimum FICO of 660 which I barely do right now.  I just did a search and I see that they say it is 640 - yet I got declined..Someone says that Prosper uses "Experian proprietary score" and I have no idea what mine is..

Re: LendingClub.com - My Experience

Just verified, the exact reasoning from Prosper:

Your credit score does not match the minimum required for a Prosper loan

Re: LendingClub.com - My Experience

I just verified on Prosper.com that their minimum score is 640, which you qualify for......weird. Oh well, you said that you had other sources, so it is irrelevant what Prosper's site says. I have pasted the location below, which, coincidently, offers another option incase one does not meet the minimum credit score.

640 using "experians" score... Apparently way difference then Fico..

I have actually researched many of the "options" prosper recommends and most of them offer extremely high APR / are loan sharks.. No thanks Smiley Happy

Re: LendingClub.com - My Experience

Just an update... I called LendingClub today and they confirmed that the score model/system is Classic Fico08. So, my score can now be updated in my sig. I suppose this is a way to know your TU Fico without getting a hard pull.

Re: LendingClub.com - My Experience

How did you get your TU08 from Lending Club? Walmart updates mine each month for free because I have a walmart card. I was not aware that peer to peer lending sites do this. I'd like to find someone that offers Experian Ficos...lol. I already get my EQ from score watch and TU from Walmart.
