Lets Play A Guessing Game

Allright, my EX is currently at 608, I have two tax liens showing that I have been disputing with my county for years.  Last week they agreed the liens were in error and gave me certified copies of the letters stating this for me to send to the bureaus.

So what is everyone's guess what my EX score will jump to when I get these liens removed?  Winner gets a cookie Smiley Happy
Starting Scores: 1/1/2016
EX 600 EQ 598 TU 610
Current Fico Scores (9/2016):EX: 674 EQ: 678 TU: 689

Re: Lets Play A Guessing Game

I'm not sure you will see any. At 5-6 years old they weren't impacting your score that much.

I agree not that much maybe 20 points, maybe.  But no one knows the true secret of the FICO scoring model

Re: Lets Play A Guessing Game

If Fico folks were smart and they wanted to make more money, they'd allow you to simulate your score, based on your specific data.  But, then again, if they got to specific someone could reverse engineer their formula, however, they could make it so their formula doesn't have an inverse function. Hmmm ... either way, they could make more money if they let people get answers to how exactly their score would be impacted by specific things on their report.  Only reason why I can see them not doing this is, because, they fear someone discovering the Fico Formula.
