Letters from CA, not currently on CR

OK, I have a couple letters from CA's for miscellaneous stuff, specifically $39.54 to a CA whom the OC is QVC.  Also, I have about $90 in collections owed to a CA where the OC is Columbia House.  These are not listed on any of my credit reports and are from about 3 years ago.  I haven't heard a thing lately, but I want to take care of these as I am cleaning up my credit now, and have the means to pay them off.  Those are from when I first got married and didn't have a cent to my name.  If I just send the checks in to pay them, will they then report it, or shouldn't I worry about that??

what is your SOL?

I only ask about SOL as it might make a differents on how & who to pay.  When past SOL it is much easier to get OC or CA to accept PFD or if not reported, to keep them from reporting.

Who if anyone reporting to CRAs??

Call QVC and see if they OWN the account. If they do you can send them a letter like a PFD (stating that they will not report after you PIF) Everything in writting!!

Is QVC and the CA reporting?

maybe a stupid question......my kid had an account with Columbia House & they never asked for his SS#.    did you give them your SS# ????  Is this on your CR???

It is always better if you can deal with the OC.
