List of what lender uses what scoring model thread!

If I am posting in wrong section then please move to right one! I have not seen a thread around with what lenders uses what scoring model so I thought I would make one, the list I have put together is pretty small knowing how many lenders there is out there so reply to this thread and I will add it, or if a mod wants to add! So heres what I have put together:

Chase: FICO 8
Bank of America: FICO 8
American Express: FICO 8
Barclays: FICO 8
Capital One: IME they seem to be all over the place, they have given FICO 8 in some denial letters I have seen from them, then FICO 4 and 98 so who knows.. Maybe they use different scoring models for different cards?
Citi: TBA (internal scoring system?)
Citi Retail Division: TBA
Comenity: They have their own internal scoring system.
Discover: FICO 8
DSNB/Macy’s/Bloomingdales: FICO 8 (for me at least)
PNC Bank: FICO 8
Synchrony Bank: IME they use their internal scoring system on initial approvals, then for CLIs they use FICO 8
US Bank: FICO 04
Wells Fargo: FICO 8
State Department Federal Credit Union: FICO 98
NASA Federal Credit Union: FICO® Bankcard Score 2
Digital Credit Union: FICO 04

My experience with Chase is they DON'T use a FICO model instead have their own internal model leading to a score that can be very different from FICO scores

Re: List of what lender uses what scoring model thread!

Threads like this are of little benefit.  People don't refer to the countless prior reference threads that already exist and this isn't the first time that someone has tried to invent this specific wheel.  If one wants to find out I'd suggest looking at the Credit Pulls Databse.  not all entires contain the info but there are entries that do.

Further, the product can have an impact on the model used.  This thread seems to assume only credit cards.

I actually appreciated this post. I was looking for a card that uses 04, and this helped a lot. Thanks OP.

I find all information that's put out to the general public to be useful as I had a question on this very subject and found that it was answered here.  Thanks OP.
