@gingerflower wrote:@LIGHTNIN Any updates on why chase had closed your accounts?
The information I posted, came from chase website.I don't have any closed chase accounts . Sorry if I gave you that impression.

They have no right to say that...
You've said this multiple times in this thread and you are incorrect. Banks can choose to cease a business relationship for any reason whatsoever. It's time to find out how to get your money and move on.

Because they have no REASON or RIGHT to BASH a person! It doesn't matter what they think - this goes far, FAR beyond anything even remotely close to a TOS agreement and "how to get money." The level of wreckage their recent actions has left in my life must be corrected, and that's on them to make it right. There is no conceivable way in the entire universe I can simply "move on" after a lifetime of hard work.
They can and DO do this all the time and its entirely legal and within their rights, and they don't legally have to tell you why. The reinstatement success ratio is not in your favor. Take the L and move on instead of stewing on it because you'll get absolutely nowhere legally despite how you feel.
I had Chase drop me about 12 years ago and I've lived my life perfectly fine without them. It's a good lesson not to put all of your eggs in one basket either.
@SKBirdmind @Earlier you stated words to the you have not been able to open a new account in over 2 years. Is that credit card or banking or both? I am very limited in what I can say because I work for a large financial instition not Chase. Banks do not have to disclose the reason for closure of the account. I would look get a copy of your Early Warning Systems and Chex Systems reports. I suggested second chance checking accounts because you may problems in opening up another checking at some financial institutions.
Edited to add
Also, you may want to review page 24 of the deposit account agreement dated 09/21/25
I would definitely get the ews report. There must be some reason for this. We'd all like to know what's going on, it's concerning.
We may all agree the reason is unfair, but we'd like to know.
I'm imagining OP as this:
They have NO RIGHT!!!!!!!!!111
Anyway, obviously they do have a "right" that's laid out in contract and law. That is to say, no laws prohibit a bank from closing all your accounts for any reason or no reason at all (as long as they're not discriminating against any protected classes). If you disagree with this, probably best to write a strongly worded letter to your state and federal representatives.
In the meantime, Chase is known for silly shenanigans such as this, which is why I never bank with them any more. I advise OP to find a better bank (or, better yet, multiple banks and diversify assets). I will never bank with just one bank ever again.
Also, file a CFPB complaint. I've been locked out of banks and always file a complaint. Nothing really happens but at least its in the record.
9 times out of 10, something tripped a BSA/AML flag, and the bank decided to end the relationship as to not take on risk.
A bank doesn't end a relationship entirely over a negative Chex or EWS report. They'd just close your checking account.
@northway I'm not familiar with BSA and AML. Could you elaborate a bit?

@Zoostation1 BSA stands for the Bank Secrecy Act the link below gives a generic description
https://www.investopedia.com/terms/b/bank_secrecy_act.asp
AML stands for Anti Money Laundering The link below gives a generic description
https://www.investopedia.com/terms/a/aml.asp
this what happens when a bank does not do their due diligence in the AML and other regulations.
