I guess I should be expecting a split file with EQ too now... I wonder if I should let the credit bureaus know about the name change instead of just waiting for the credit cards to update that info..

It would be better if you let them know !!!!! you will need to send a copy of DL,SS and a Utility Bill for proof of ID

So, when you file a dispute, you get a copy of your credit report?
