When we lock the credit report can we still continue dispute and other activities ? What can be done and can not be done when the Credit Report is locked ?

Re: Locking the credit report

One thing I do know is that when your CR is locked, you can't app for anything. So if you're deciding to app for something anytime soon, or whenever you do, unlock those reports first!

Thanks. Do we have to pay for the locking the report  ? When I am in Experian console it says upgrade to use the credit lock feature. Is it some thing we have to pay to CRAs for this service ?

Yes, I believe you have to pay for a subscription to use that feature. I have Experian CreditWorks subscription for 9 something a month. I also have a monthly myFICO 3B membership so not sure why I'm still paying $$ for Experian lol.

No, it should cost you nothing to actually freeze your CR.

One thing I know is you can't get pre-approvals ( not for all ) if you lock your credit reports.

You can't get prequals because lock/freeze block SPs in addition to HPs unless they are coded as AR from an existing creditor.
