MOV Response from Experian

I sent an MOV to Experian on 12 Oct -- got a response today that says "we contact the source of the information through an automated verification system" -- when I sent the MOV, I also sent proof that their system was 'wrong'. (sent a copy of the tax lien release).

Should I wait the 30 days for them to fix it?

Should I re-dispute?

If they don't fix it, should I then file with the AG and find my own lawyer?  My feeling is that if they want to collect info on me - than have it hyer-accurate - not just sorta accurate.

They just lost a lawsuit over this crap  send this letter...make changes where needed.

Example letter:

FCRA Section 611(a)(1)(A)clearly states that upon receipt of a dispute Experian is to perform an investigation. Oviously, this did not hold true of my dispute of xx date. On xx date I received notice from Experian that my dispute had been "previously investigated". According to the FCRA, this is not an option.

Because of your blatant disregard for the FCRA, I am demanding that the disputed tradelines be deleted from my credit report. I am guaranteed, by law, that you will report with 100% accuracy and that any account I dispute will be investigated. You have proven that this cannot be done.

You now have 5 days from your receipt of this letter to remove the previously disputed accounts from my credit report. Be advised, that my attorney has in his possession all the letters and supporting documentation regarding this matter. If the accounts in question are not deleted he will file suit in Federal Court.

I just got a piece of garbage for an answer on a MOV from TU and am now sending this.

Re: MOV Response from Experian

One more thing, sorry.

What else should I send to Experian with this letter?  I know they require an utility bill, copy of driver's license, SS card?, and something else (cannot remember).  Anything else?

Also, is there any threads on here with this letter shown?  I cannot find it.

Thank you.

Re: MOV Response from Experian

Gets even better - they are NOW reporting 2 liens (same amount, different release dates) - there WAS only one which has been paid!  No wonder why my EX score is in the toilet.

Filed a verbal dispute and will follow up with a fax.

Someone please tell me how can I dispute one as 'paid' and end up with two?  They can't be verifying anything!  I just called the court and verified that there  is only ONE and the date of release.  This was NOT hard at all - and it is a public record so there really isn't a privacy issue.

Re: MOV Response from Experian

Fastest fix ever from Experian - 2 hours.  I called, explained to the rep that I had disputed because it wasn't showing paid, and then ended up with 2 paid tax liens -- just got the email -- the second one is off my report.  Waiting for it to magically reappear though (and do it all again).  At this rate I will be monitoring forever just to keep their errors to a minimum.
