In the mists of my memory, I remember reading somewhere that medical liens collection were going to be dropped from credit reports. I had one small physical therapy lien that was almost four years old (and, therefore, not recoverable in small claims court) and I was about to begin the laborious process of pay to remove. However, it appears this lien has vanished. Is it true that medical liens have been removed from credit reports and, if so, does physical therapy come under the heading of "medical"?
Thanks.
You mean a collection agency had an account for physical therapy treatment? Where you seeing that it vanished? And it went to court? Check your real reports at annualcreditreport and make sure its gone from all 3. Not a lien. PT is medical.

@kshurika I think your terminology is going to confuse some. When you say "lien" do you mean just a collection account? Or do you mean that there was legal action against you and you now have a lien?
paid medical collections are slated to be purged from reports come summer.
Yes, I meant collection, not lien. I haven't paid a dime, or even responded to any demand from the collection agency. Now, it's all gone.
