Medical Collection

Hello,

I have a question about medical collections, I have 3 equaling out to about 900 dollars, I tried getting the CA to remove the collections from my credit report in exchange for my full payment. They said that there company was not allowed to do that, that they will put paid in full, but will not remove it. I was told that HIPPA was able able to help with removing from credit report, is that correct or what would be the best way to go about this.
