Hmm. Well I guess I'll try not to worry about it then. But it's shocking how bad these errors can be. Aparently I've also been hired by a company called "Student" as well?
Whatever. Anyhow, I also ordered my equifax, so in 3 to 5 business days I can finaly see whatever non-sense is listed in that one as well.

This stuff gets submitted by the lenders. It's not at all uncommon for a consumer to tidy up all the info, and have it all back to nonsense the next month, because a lender keeps resubmitting the old stuff.
Employment data isn't that big of a deal, but it can be a real PITA when they (lenders) keep submitting old addresses, incorrect SSN's, and misspelled names!
My guess is that at some point, you listed your occupation as "student" on an application for credit and a lender somehow submitted it to the CBs are your employer. My CRs say all kinds of weird stuff and I don't even bother with it... like "haulingthescoreup" said, it's likely that it will just get messed up again anyway!
