Monitoring Credit

Hey All. I was using Credit Karma for giggles, and had the myfico. I had to change my payment, and now I can't remember which service is best with them. I feel $60 is a bit much to monitor credit, but then a $7 single score is too little as I want all three. I went over to Credit Check Total, and I decided not to use them since they do not have a mobile app, and I like having everything accesible on an app. Any suggestions or recommendations as far as which service?

Re: Monitoring Credit

I use credit karma weekly, not for the score so much as to keep track of the actual factors contributing to the real score.

I use AmEx's fico score checker, which shows the Experian fico score monthly.

One of these days I'll get around to the yearly free credit pull from all 3 bureaus.

I don't pay to monitor my score.

Re: Monitoring Credit

I'm a huge fan of CCT $1 trials, but I don't know anything about mobile apps or anything since I just access them on my PC.

Re: Monitoring Credit

Yea, I like CK to monitor and see the weekly changes, and I really liked myfico, with the mobile app and the immediate alerts with any changes. I'll have to see if I can find a coupon or something with myfico. CCT is nice, same aspect I guess, but it's so convenient for the mobile app. Thanks!

I'm always stunned and amazed when a service doesn't have a mobile app these days; when I'm at home I'm fine with a standard browser client but pretty soon mobile access is going to be the best I can hope for.

Good chance for the next year I just use EX and CK and done, and both have mobile apps.  EX monitoring is sharp, CK stuck on that weekly update bit but this year I need it more for making sure nothing stupid / fraudulent happens with my credit than the analysis I've been trying to do in the past.
